PPPoE steht für Point to Point Protocoll over Ethernet = Punkt-zu-Punkt-Protokoll über Ethernet, also die Nutzung des Netzwerkprotokolls PPP über eine Ethernet(Netzwerk)-Verbindung. PPPoE wird heute bei ADSL-Anschlüssen in Deutschland verwendet. PPPoE ist also nichts anderes als eine Zielgerichtete Verbindung ueber das Netzwerk (kann natuerlich auch ueber das Internet erfolgen) |
